My good friends Ron and Jane Ann Richmond recently began a new chapter in their lives as missionaries in Tanzania, Africa.  Check out their journey here.  I thoroughly enjoyed browsing through their posts…make sure you look at the older posts and check out the amazing wildlife scenery they now have in their backyard.  Just not the same as looking out on my backyard and seeing the 3 K-dogs hanging out with an optional squirrel or two and some random birds. 

Maybe I should dye the K-dogs’ doghair in zebra stripes just so I can imagine…hmmmm.

Friends, Fishing, Beautiful Scenery, Lots of Laugher - yep, we had a great weekend a couple of weeks ago!

I’m on a leadership retreat for Dare 2 Share – in the mountains, near Granby.  Many discussions – lots of strategic planning.  Heads spinning. Re-focus, prayer, objectives stated, prayer, direction….and so much more! 

I reflected on the phrase “mountain top experience” and remembered songs and many illustrations from friends as well as biblical accounts where God met people on a mountain and great things happened.  That is my prayer for this retreat – that we’d all come down with renewed focus and perspective – both collectively and individually so that ultimately God’s purpose is accomplished through Dare 2 Share and through our lives!
