Last night Rob and I were with our good friends, Rocky and Jovan.  Went to dinner and a movie [Lady in the Water…interesting movie] and when we came out we found we were caught in a thunderstorm – pouring rain.  Our option was to stay inside until it was over, or to make a run for it.  We ran for it, sloshing through puddles and getting soaked in the process…but, it was fun.  I hadn’t run through the rain in a long time.  It was freezing cold (well, at least to Jovan and I it was….but I realize that scientifically, it was far from freezing).  We laughed and shivered and were glad when we finally made it to our car.

Made me think of the storms of life.  When you are caught in a life storm, they’re easier to go through when you have good friends alongside of you!  🙂

Isn’t it amazing how God displays His truth and glory in such simple things as playing in/running through the rain? He loves me like that 🙂
