(Thanksgiving was as I described previously…you can check out the pics here.)

Sunday Rob and I are heading to Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

We’re going with some great friends and are looking forward to our time away! Today and tomorrow are filled with packing, list making, and all the other fun-ness that goes into an international trip.  We have to be packed and ready to jump in the car and head to the airport right after church on Sunday (Rob is preaching this weekend and I have Worship Team responsibilities….ah the joys of living life on the edge and cramming as much as possible into a day.)  I am looking forward (at least right now) to the flight – reading, sleeping, listening to music… I’m sure that when my legs are cramped and my body is screaming, “Please let me lay down” instead of sitting upright with a seatbelt on, that I’ll be less than thrilled to be in the airplane.  The fun comes after we arrive and hit the beach to sleep off our jet lag.    It’s summer down there.  🙂

I’ll blog about our Brazilian adventures when I return!
