So, last night and a week ago Friday night, Rob and I went to MaDcap Theater.  If you haven’t ever gone, you should.  It was a blast.  Here’s a bit from their website:

MaDcap Theater’s improv show is an hour and a half of unscripted, high energy, tasteful comedy, which is created on the spot by a cast of four talented actors and an MC. Scenes are created around suggestions and experiences offered by the audience. This interaction ensures that the audience is always counted on to play a big part in the creation of our show. SO come ready with creative suggestions and family stories because you never know when the show will need your input!

A bonus is that our friends, Russ and Nicole Faillaci  [also co-owners of MaDcap], and JT Wakefield, are part of the cast of actors!  We were able to catch JT in the show last night, and Russ in the show the week before.  Interesting that both of them played “Stoners” in the dating game….hmmmm.  Very funny.  They serve snacks and drinks and the whole evening is very entertaining.

It’s a nice switch from the movies – never stale because the unscripted scenes are based off the current audience’s suggestions.  If you’re looking for something fun to do, something different, and you enjoy laughing a lot – check it out!  Plus, there’s really not a bad seat in the house.  Our whole family enjoyed it, so, – a big thumbs up from the Kelly household!

Thanks MaDcap!
