I’m sitting at home hanging out with Bethany and Elise.  Rob is experiencing a great once in a lifetime moment – he’s at the World Series – Game 4 of the Colorado Rockies vs. Red Sox.  It’s been highly entertaining to watch him as he watches the Colorado Rockies advance.  Though the past 3 games have not been what he might have wanted, he is determined to keep cheering them on – after all, they still could pull out of this – they just have to win the next 4 games.  Sound familiar?  Yeah, getting to this point they’ve been down to the wire before and they did pull it off!  For Rob’s sake, I hope tonight’s game is a great one – obviously I hope the Colorado Rockies win, but no matter what, I am so happy for him to be able to be there, taking it all in live with his longtime friend, Dave Gifford!  Go Rockies, GO!  Win one for one of your biggest fans!  Dave and Rob – enjoy every moment.

At least they made it to the Series, that is an accomplishment within itself. And if I remember right, it wasn’t for quite a few years that the Broncos won a Super Bowl???
The Rockies are a young team this year, Todd Helton being the veteran. He came in when the Blake Street Bombers were on the runway headed out of town…
So cudos to the Rockies for making it that far!
    And next season??? Who knows!!!!

Well, it was a disappointment. I was holding my breath, so I was glad when it was over, truthfully. I needed to breathe.

During the last inning of the game, the TV camera crews kept zeroing in on people’s faces. I had never seen as much prayer going up in one place at one time-publicly, no less. Not even at church
