…you attend a Youth Specialties Convention.

Actually I have really no idea…I’ll find out when I get there, ‘cuz that’s where I am going this morning. I’ve been to St. Louis before – to the arch, etc., so we’ll see what new and fabulous thing I see this time.  🙂  I am going for my work to help with the “boothing responsibilities” at the Youth Specialties Convention.  Three other staff members will be doing this with me.  We’re excited about the way the booth looks this year – a lot of hard work and creativity paid off.  We just hope it does the job of attracting people to the booth to check out Dare 2 Share Ministries.

And, just because it’s fun to have many irons in the fire, this weekend is also our first conference of the Survive Tour in Washington DC.  The past two weeks have been moving at a frenetic pace as we all worked really hard to complete every last minute details for both the Youth Specialties Convention and the Dare 2 Share Survive Conference.  This morning I was checking email and sending files, and things should be arriving at the office today that still need to go on a box on the plane with the crew heading to DC.  Whew!  It’s craziness!

In the midst of this craziness, though, it feels good to know that thousands of teens (DC is a FULL event) will be converging in DC in 2 days for the kick off to this tour.  My prayer is that they don’t leave the same way that they came – that they are energized and motivated in ways they never dreamed to share their faith in Jesus with others.  And, it’s fun to be heading to a weekend filled with opportunities to reach other youth leaders who can benefit from the many resources Dare 2 Share offers!

So – probably not too many posts will happen between now and when I return, but then again…you never know.

Hope everyone has a safe Halloween today, however you choose to celebrate (or not).

P.S.  If you think about it, pray for the Dare 2 Share staff this weekend – there’s a lot going on!  Pray for safety in travel, for health, and for extra doses of energy to do things to the very best of our ability!
