Well, we made it home.  After a sleepless overnight flight from Maui, we came home, looked around at the Christmas stuff and other things to be done….”Nah, it’ll all wait!”  I said.  We promptly threw our suitcases in our room, climbed on our bed and took a much needed nap.  Sometime in the afternoon I groggily took a shower and then began to tackle the many things you have to do to unpack and begin re-entry into life.  You know, the important things, like watching American Idol that my wonderful daughter, Elise, recorded for me, things like that!  Whew – Philadelphia had a few doosies in their American Idol tryouts!  What’s up with the Princess Leah chick?

One trip to the grocery store, 4 bags unpacked, several loads of laundry done, a few coffee pots of Hawaiian coffee brewed, a phone call with my mom, one Hawaiian pineapple eaten, Chipotle run for dinner, giving the girls their presents (except for Bethany who I won’t see until FRIDAY – I miss you Beth!)…yep, I’m home, I’m tired, but happy to be home.  Tomorrow it’s back to work…..

P.S.  The Christmas tree is still up, oh well, a few more days won’t hurt anybody.   🙂

Don’t feel bad about the tree. We just past a house with full fledged lights and lawn decorations that were lit to the hilt.
